Launch X-431 September Update Adds Targeted Support for Tesla, Mercedes, and Daihatsu

The September bundle packages three brand packs — Tesla V10.67, Mercedes-Benz V50.58, and Daihatsu V20.80 — into a single deployment path for shops running the platform on import work. For independent bays handling early-build Teslas and Mercedes-Benz chassis, the update addresses the highest-volume electronics work in the current queue.
Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Daihatsu packs deploy as discrete modules
Three datasets, one installer. Tesla V10.67 anchors the update, with Mercedes-Benz V50.58 and Daihatsu V20.80 following as separate modules. Each pack is delivered independently rather than merged into a single database, preserving individual version tracking inside the X-431 client. If the tool reports any module as outdated after the update completes, that module is flagged separately in the version menu — a clean failure signal that prevents the technician from assuming a full update when only a partial one applied. If all three modules populate cleanly, the system reports the bundle as fully synchronized.
Pre-2021 Tesla: schematics, live data, ADAS
The Tesla module targets vehicles built before 2021. Diagnostic port connection schematics have been revised, and live data streams have been updated to align with the parameter structures used on those platforms. For independent shops handling early-build Tesla chassis, this reduces the manual cross-reference work previously required when the tool's default PIDs did not match the values reported through the diagnostic port. ADAS calibration routines have been streamlined as well, consolidating confirmation steps that previously added bench time to static and dynamic calibration procedures. The end-state result is shorter calibration cycles and fewer mid-routine aborts.
Service reset coverage extends to Daihatsu
Routine service resets — oil life, brake pad wear, steering angle sensor zeroing, battery registration on supported Mercedes-Benz chassis — are processed through the updated routines without the workaround sequences required on earlier firmware builds. The Daihatsu V20.80 pack extends similar coverage to smaller-displacement imports that frequently pass through generalist bays and historically required dealer-level tooling for the same service functions.
Baseline verification after installation: confirm Tesla V10.67, Mercedes-Benz V50.58, and Daihatsu V20.80 all appear in the version menu. Open a pre-2021 Tesla session and verify live data populates without manual parameter override. Run a steering angle sensor reset on a Mercedes chassis to confirm the routine completes without residual DTC artifacts. If any module fails to populate, the version menu will report the affected brand pack by name and version, and the update should be re-run for that module only.
